New Kyocera Mita Products at Cebit 2003

The latest ECOSYS Laser Printer, the FS-6020, offers the most affordable A3 desktop printing on the market. This new, compact, high speed device prints up to 20ppm for A4 and 11ppm for A3 using its PowerPC 405CX 200MHz processor. High speed is matched by high quality with Fast 1200 dpi resolution, which ensures a consistently high image quality at full speed.

The KM-4030 is a comprehensive digital multifunctional copying system with optional network print, scan and fax capabilities, which challenge even the toughest competition to provide an easier to use alternative. With the fastest processor and ‘first copy out’ time – less than 3.9 seconds - in its class, the KM-4030 has an impressive start on its competition. All functions, scan, print and copy, produce 40 pages per minute at a high quality output with a resolution of 600dpi for copying and Fast 1200dpi for printing.

Kyocera Mita has launched the most dependable multifunctional on the market, producing 63 ppm. The KM-6330 is a multifunctional device with optional printer and scanner functions for the departmental to production segment, and replaces the popular KM-6230. The KM-6330 has the longest drum life of any other device in its class, which can produce up to a huge amount 3.6 million pages, and sustain an impressive maintenance cycle of 500,000 pages.

The KM-7530 is a 75 ppm multifunctional with a first copy time of less than 3.2 seconds. This model can also be used in tandem to produce a staggering 150 ppm. The KM-7530 incorporates extremely durable components that guarantee smooth and reliable operation. The drum unit is designed to last for 4,500,000 pages, keeping your operation costs low and ensuring a minimum impact on the environment.

The new KM-1500 will not be launched till later in the year, but CeBIT visitors will be able to see this fantastic machine in action on the Kyocera Mita stand. The device is based on the micro engine of the existing FS-1010 ECOSYS laser printer, and as a result the KM-1500 has a footprint which, as of September 2002 when it was compared to similar machines, makes it the smallest and lightest machine in the world.

New Colour products

The KM-C850 is the successor model to the popular KM-C830 colour multifunctional, launched at CeBIT 2002. With a more powerful controller and even better image quality in both print and copy mode, this device produces superb results. The long-life components of the KM-C850 include a very hard-wearing amorphous silicon drum, a technology unique to Kyocera Mita, which is designed to last for up to 600,000 images.

The FS-C5016N is the new A4 colour ECOSYS printer from Kyocera Mita, offering a very fast print speed of 16 ppm in both colour and black and white. This new model has all the benefits of a black and white printer – a compact design, high speed production and low cost. In addition the FS-C5016N offers the advantages of high quality colour printing provided by Kyocera Mita’s own multi-bit technology producing 600 dpi with 256 greyscales.

The new FS-C8008N is the result of development of the first ECOSYS colour printer – the FS-8000C, which was launched at CeBIT 2001. The memory size, colour print quality, productivity and up-time have all been enhanced to give users even better and faster colour documents.
